Refund policy
Last updated: July 31, 2026
Vid Kraken is operated by Omnivision Solutions Ltd, a UK limited company trading as Vid Kraken. This policy explains how subscription cancellations and refunds are handled. Nothing in it limits any consumer protections you have under the law of your country of residence.
01Subscriptions and renewals
Paid plans are billed in advance and renew automatically at the end of each billing period, at the rates displayed when you purchased or last changed your plan. Job quotas reset at the start of each period; unused quota does not roll over and is not redeemable for credit or cash.
02Cancelling a subscription
You can cancel at any time from your account dashboard, or by emailing [email protected] from the address on the account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period: you keep access until then, and no further charges are made. Cancelling does not by itself entitle you to a refund of charges already completed, and we do not issue partial refunds for unused time or quota.
03Refunds
Except where a statutory right applies, completed charges are generally non-refundable. That said, if the service has not worked for you — jobs failing through no fault of your configuration, or the API materially not doing what we advertise — contact us at [email protected] within 14 days of the charge and we will review the request in good faith.
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. When a charge is refunded, access under the associated subscription period ends at the time the refund is issued.
04Failed jobs
Failed jobs are never billed and never counted against your quota, so a batch of failures does not consume what you paid for. If you hit repeated failures, contact support first — most processing issues are resolved quickly.
05Statutory rights
If you are a consumer, you may have cancellation or refund rights under local law — for example, a statutory cooling-off period — that apply regardless of this policy. Where such rights apply, we honor them.
06Contact
Questions about billing, cancellations, or refunds: [email protected]. Include the email address on the account and, for refund requests, the date and amount of the charge.
